Wollongong Manufacturing Showcase, 2012
Illawarra Industrial Instrumentation was proud to be part of the 2012 i3net Wollongong Manufacturing Showcase, presenting to a number of TAFE students and company delegates from around Australia, with the purpose of promoting the Illawarras manufacturing and technical capabilities.
Our presentations included an overview of our company in general, as well as sessions focused on our site services (technical services, installation and maintenance), sales capabilities and our new industrial 3D visualisation products.

Thank you and your team for showing the students from TAFE and myself Illawarra Industrial Instrumentation today. The visit was a tremendous eye opener for the students who describe the work you do at iii as 'awesome'.
Your presentations brought to life things we cover in the classroom, in particular for mechanical engineering students:
-
The instrumentation display with the actual sensors and instrumentation we study in Machine Condition Monitoring and Industrial Computer Programming.
-
The 3D process visualisation was fantastic to see, particularly the training aspects for students who have limited knowledge of industrial plants.
-
The project management aspect from concept to completion and the reality of keeping a business viable, all displayed before us on a wall and explained passionately by Gary.
- Brooke Knowles, TAFE NSW - Illawarra Institute
