Using a WirelessHART adapter, you can turn any loop-powered (2-wire 4-20mA) transmitter into a battery-powered wireless transmitter, able to send your signals over the air. Your transmitters connect to the WirelessHART Gateway, which then provides all of your signals in common industrial protocols such as MODBUS/TCP.

Even more impressive, these are available for use in a hazardous area, freeing you from having to do cable calculations when installing hardware into an explosive atmosphere.

P+F offer three main components - the WirelessHART Gateway, the WirelessHART Temperature Transmitter and the WirelessHART Adapter.
