Industrial Networks

Plants are becoming larger and more sophisticated, with more information required and distributed to a higher company level. Industrial network needs are different to production networks and their poor implementation can prove disruptive to the plant operations.

Industrial Networks allow you to avoid all of the hassle and difficulty involved in getting signals from one place to another across your plant. Rather than requiring dozens or hundreds of individual cables to be taken all the way across your plant, you collect them at remote IO stations. Then you simply run a single network cable or wireless link between your stations, saving kilometers of cabling and thousands of dollars in both installation and trouble-shooting should errors occur in the future.

We can also provide fiber-optic, radio and mobile-phone based networking solutions, to allow you to run information to and from remote sites that can be kilometers, states or even countries away.

Industrial networks go down into local bus systems such as ASi, Profibus or Fieldbus, allowing a single cable to both power every device and return complex signals. Not only is installation simplified by running everything off a single trunk cable, but your sensors can provide additional diagnostic information such as the ID of the sensor, how long it has been since it was last calibrated, it's temperature and pressure and much more.

We can help you design and install your industrial network, as well as offering quality industrial network equipment - please call us if you need to move your data in any industrial situation.
